Bal graduated from Leeds University in 2002. Before purchasing Meltham Dental Care in 2006, he worked at Horbury Dental Care as an associate dentist. Bal has a strong belief in continuous learning and he encourages all his team members to gain further qualifications in dentistry; thus building a strong, highly qualified and passionate team to serve the patients in the West Yorkshire area.
Bal is approachable and enthusiastic. He is presently undertaking the MJDF and a restorative diploma, run by the Royal College of Surgeons, where his special interest lies. He is also a foundation dentist trainer in the Huddersfield area.
Outside dentistry, he loves eating out!
Farzana Shakoor BDS MFDSGDC No. 77485
Dentist
Farzana graduated from Manchester University in 2000 and has gained good experiences in both community and general dental practices, as well being a senior house officer in the Maxillofacial department of a hospital. She has developed special interests in cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy and the treatment of anxious/nervous patients who suffer from dental phobia.
At the moment, she is attending Paul Tipton's course to learn the latest restorative dental techniques and update her skills in dealing with complex dental cases.
In her spare time, she enjoys keeping fit, cooking and socialising
Waqar Mohammed BDS

Waqar graduated from Birmingham University in 2006 and has been at Meltham Dental Care since 2007. His special interests are in restorative dentistry and is currently studying towards a Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) as well as attending the Mike Wise advanced restorative course.
Outside dentistry, he plays cricket and football. He also loves eating out and travelling.

Phil graduated in 2008 from Leeds University and joined Meltham Dental Care in 2009. He has a special interest in root canal treatment.

Sophie graduated from Leeds University in 2010. She is looking forward to enhancing her skills in Dentistry and hopes to undertake her MJDF examinations in the future.
In her spare time she enjoys photography, cooking and travelling.

Katy graduated from Leeds University in 2007 and has been working at Meltham Dental Care since January 2009. She enjoys treating nervous patients.
Outside dentistry, she likes walking, going to theatres and spending time with her family.

Joanne gained a Certificate in Oral Health Education and ILM Level 7 Certificate and Diploma qualification in Executive Management.
Joanne has been Practice manager at Meltham dental Care since 1997
During her spare time, she enjoys running and yoga.
