COVID-19 – current situation
Hello
We hope you are all well in the current climate.
As many of you will be aware the practice had been only able to offer a remote service to our patients during the initial lockdown.
We are now able to see patients face to face and are offering appointments to patients who require urgent care and those that had an open treatment plan prior to lockdown.
We will continue to triage all patients before appointments are offered to ensure appointments are prioritised and to ensure everyone’s safety.
Visiting the dentist will not be quite the same so before you attend we will send you an email with the new systems and protocols.
Once we are able to we will be contacting patients who are due their examinations but these appointments will be prioritised
If you have any questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact us via phone 01484 850501 or the contact page on the website
If you require advice outside of normal hours and have an urgent dental problem, please consider if this could wait until the following day or over the weekend rather than accessing the out of hours’ services.
If your out of hours’ problem is extremely severe please contact the out of hours’ service through NHS 111.
If your dental problem includes uncontrolled bleeding and a swelling that is causing breathing problems this is an emergency and you should go to A&E.
