There are many reasons why patients attend requesting a dental implant. They could have lost a tooth due to the result of an accident, a tooth may require an extraction or they have a denture which they are unhappy with as it is loose or feels unnatural.
It is not unusual to have lost a tooth 69% of adults between the age of 35 – 44 years have lost at least one permanent tooth and 26% of adults over the age of 74 have lost all their teeth.
If you are considering a dental implant, an assessment with a dentist to assess your suitability is the first port of call.
At Meltham Dental Care we offer patients two options for assessments the first one is ÂŁ40, which will give you an appointment with the dentist to discuss your suitability and a brief out line of what is involved.
For a more in-depth consultation we would advise a full case assessment at ÂŁ125, during the initial appointment Bal will look in your mouth, take photos and radiographs if required and discuss with you some of his findings.
After the initial consultation you will re-attend and be presented with a full report which Bal will go through with you explaining the various treatment options available to you and the benefits of each one. Â The report is then your to take away with you to read and digest we would then see you at a further visit to answer any questions you may have.
Once you have decided to go ahead with the treatment your appointment to have the dental implant placed will be with Mark Willing. Mark has a wealth of experience in this areas having placed a significant number of dental implants.
We have a number of Blogs on our website  with testimonials from patients who have had dental implants, why not have a read.
