FASTBRACES in Holmfirth and Huddersfield

Fastbraces® uses a super-elastic nickel-titanium wire and a patented ‘T’-shaped triangular design of bracket on the teeth which gently allows for simultaneous movement of the crown and root of the tooth.

This can typically reduce treatment time from between 3 months and up to 1 year.

Where most conventional orthodontic treatments require the extraction of ‘healthy’ teeth to make space, Fastbraces® does not.

How comfortable are the braces to wear?

Fastbraces® technology uses low mean frictional forces which means less pain and less root resorption compared to conventional orthodontics.

Will I have to wear a retainer?

 Yes, you will have to wear clear retainers once your treatment is completed

You will begin by wearing your retainers 20 hours a day for the first 3 months.

After this, they are worn every night for the next 3 months and then for 15 minutes daily for life.

This is to maintain root parallelism and orthodontic repositioning and prevent relapse

How long will it take and how much will it cost?

Fastbraces® treatment times and prices are dependent on the complexity of the case. Fees are the same for single and double arches

Mild cases of crowding/complexity will take approximately 3-6 months and will cost from £2000

Moderate cases of crowding/complexity will take approximately 6-9 months and will cost from £3000

Advance cases of crowding/complexity will take approximately  8-12 months and will cost from £4000

The prices above are based on the more traditional metal bracket. If you would like white/clear brackets an additional fee of £500 per arch should be added along with an increase in treatment time.
