Invisalign clear aligners are virtually invisible braces, custom made to gradually straighten your teeth, without the need for brackets and wires. We provide Invisalign treatment to many happy patients in Huddersfield and West Yorkshire, from our modern dental practice in Meltham.
If you decide Invisalign is the treatment for you the dentist will scan your teeth using the Itero scanner.
The scanner will provide a 3D digital scan of your teeth and a simulation of your treatment plan so you are able to view the potential outcome of the treatment.
After a discussion with the dentist to ensure you are fully happy with the outcome we will send off for your aligners ready to start your treatment.
Your aligner will be fitted and you will be required to wear them for 20 – 22 hours per day, the dentist will advise you how often you will be required to change them.
The great thing about aligners is that you can remove them to eat, drink, brush and floss so they do not cause any disruption to your daily routine.
The treatment depends on 2 things — how much correction is required, and your compliance.
We can give you a reasonable estimate of your treatment duration during when we have scanned your teeth.
Your may have mild discomfort when you first start wearing the aligners. There may also be brief periods of discomfort each time you change your aligners.
The cost will be dependant on the type of Invisalign you have the maximum charge will be £3600.
We do offer both in house payment plans and 0% finance via a finance company.
After the end of your treatment, you will need to wear a retainer regularly to ensure your teeth do not move back to their original position.
