Bal Dhesi
BChD (UK) 2002, MInst LM, GDC no: 80663
Bal Dhesi qualified from University of Leeds in 2002 and has been the principal dentist at Meltham Dental Care since 2006. Bal’s philosophy is to ensure dentistry is delivered to the highest standard, this includes providing a clinical and support team that are trained to the highest of standards.
Bal was behind the development of our custom built state of the art dental surgery only one of a very few in the country.
To ensure that Bal remains at the cutting edge of dentistry, he is ever increasing his post graduate knowledge. Some of his post graduate education includes attending the Restorative Diploma run by the Faculty of Royal college of surgeons and introductory and advanced postgraduate Dental Implant Courses along with numerous tooth alignment (braces) courses.
Bal is keen to provide his patients with the treatments and results they want, his approach is very much geared towards listening to the patients’ needs and working with the patient to achieve their desired results.
In Bals spare time he enjoys eating out and entertaining his young son.
Clinical Team

Usman Asghar
BChD (UK) 2014, GDC no: 252209
Usman enjoys every aspect of general dentistry and has taken keen interest in aesthetic treatment. Having taken further postgraduate training in orthodontics, he currently carries out brace treatment with the use of Quick Straight Teeth and Fastbraces. His motivation and drive means he is always looking to advance his skills to provide the best treatment. Usman looks forward to communicating with his patients and feels this is the most rewarding aspect of his job.
Outside dentistry he enjoys playing football, has a big passion for Liverpool football club and spends time in the gym.

Sukhbant Hare
BChD, GDC no: 80664
A graduate from Leeds Dental University in 2002, Su started her dental career in Bradford. In 2004 Su joined a mixed NHS and private dental practice in Leeds and in 2014 Su joined Meltham Dental Care.
Su is committed to continual professional development within dentistry and regularly attends post graduate courses.
She is a firm believer in the preventative approach to dentistry.
Su offers a wide range of dental services, including, general dentistry, crowns and bridges and cosmetic dentistry.
Su likes to spend her spare time with her young family and enjoys travelling.

Louise Lloyd
BDS, GDC no: 258052
Louise graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in 2015. She enjoys all aspects of general dental practice and particularly thrives on building strong relationships with her patients and providing high-quality care.
She has interests in paediatric, restorative and aesthetic dentistry and aims to enhance her knowledge and skills in all areas before embarking on further professional development in the future.
Outside of dentistry Louise enjoys spending time with friends and family, travel, reading and most outdoor activities, specifically skiing, hiking and running.

Katy Oldfield, Therapist
Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy Leeds (UK) 2014, GDC no: 130937
Katy qualified as a dental hygienist therapist at Leeds Dental Institute in 2007.
She has since developed a broad spectrum of experience in practices in both Huddersfield and Leeds. Katy actively undertakes continuing education and courses that have added to her knowledge and skills.
She has a keen interest in periodontal treatment and educating patients to improve oral hygiene.
Katy enjoys treating children and has great feedback from nervous patients
In her spare time Katy is the proud mum of 3 girls who enjoys meeting with family and friends.

Sarah MacNeill, Therapist
Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy Greater Manchester school for Dental Care Professionals (UK) 2016, GDC no: 124997
Sarah qualified as a dental nurse with the NVQ level 3 in oral health care dental nursing in 2007. Following this Sarah spent 7 enjoyable years working in a busy NHS dental practice and gained post qualifications in dental radiography and the application of fluoride varnish.
In 2016 Sarah achieved the diploma in dental hygiene and dental therapy and now enjoys working with the team at Meltham Dental to provide a high quality and standard of dental treatment.
Sarah is a member of the British Society of Dental Hygienists and Therapists and regularly attends courses and conferences to update knowledge and skill.
In her spare time Sarah enjoys spending time with friends and playing badminton.

Ayah Siddiqi
BDS, GDC no: 271453
Ayah qualified from the University of Central Lancashire in 2017 and thoroughly enjoys carrying out all aspects of general dentistry and facial aesthetics. Ayah has a long standing history of working within various sectors of the healthcare system and is keen to use these skills to approach dentistry from a holistic perspective.
Ayah endeavors to build a rapport with her patients and works with them to tailor the treatment they require to their needs, in order to provide the highest level care. She finds dentistry particularly rewarding when successfully treating anxious patients and helping them overcome any of their worries.
Ayah is committed to continually improving her skills by attending numerous post graduate courses and is able to provide advanced facial aesthetics, Invisalign and prescription only tailored skincare.
In her spare time she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, reading and volunteering at a local youth community centre.

Mark V Willings
BDS (UK) 1991, MFGDP (UK) DIP IMP DENT RCS (ENG) FFGDP (UK), GDC no: 67357
Mark qualified from the prestigious Guys Hospital Dental School in 1991. In July 2004 he was awarded the Advanced Level Certificate of the Diploma in Implantology from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in October 2009.
For 10 years Mark worked at Manchester University Dental Hospital where he worked in the department of Oral Maxillo Facial Surgery, exclusively spending his time working on all aspects of surgical dental implantology. This gave him valuable experience treating very advanced cases including patients who had significant deformities caused by extreme trauma and in the rehabilitation of patients who had surgery for oral cancer.
Mark is also an Honorary Clinical Teaching Fellow at Manchester University Dental Hospital where he is involved in teaching the Masters students in Implant Dentistry.
Mark will be involved in treatment planning and undertaking advanced implant placements including grafting and sinus lifts at Meltham Dental Care.
Support Team

Joanne Holroyd, Practice Manager
RDN, MInst LM, GDC no: 106793
Joanne started her career in dentistry in 1990 as a Trainee Dental Nurse. After working as a Dental Nurse and receptionist for a number of years she became Practice Manager at Meltham Dental Care in 1997 and hasn’t looked back.
Joanne undertook a Diploma in Executive Management and went on to win ILM Learner of the Year 2010 and a City in Guilds Gold Award.
Joanne is very focused on ensuring the practice meets best practice in all areas. She is committed to continually developing her own skills and that of the other dental care professionals in the practice.
Her commitment to the practice and team was rewarded in 2013 when she won Practice Manager of the Year North and for all of UK.
In her spare time Joanne enjoys reading, eating out spending time with family and friends and trying to keep fit

Kerry Furze, Assistant Practice Manager
Kerry started her career in the travel industry in 1995 as a trainee and worked up the ranks to become store Manager. Kerry also trained as an NVQ Assessor and Trainer in Travel & Tourism.
Having gained a number of accolades throughout her career in the travel industry, Kerry decided to take herself in a new direction and exciting journey with Meltham Dental Care.
Kerry thrives on providing excellent customer service and looks forward to providing all our patients with the perfect patient experience.
Outside of work Kerry enjoys travel, eating out and spending time with her family.
